The Month of March is commonly known for shamrocks, St. Patrick's Day, leprechauns, and the luck of the Irish, but I want to say I'm not lucky, I'm blessed! I always say that God won't give you more than you can bear and every hardship and trial is for HIS good for those that love the Lord! God's blessings come in various ways and there is no blessing too big or too small. Simply waking up alive is a blessing, but some people didn't. There is a blessing in simply being a child of God, having food to eat, and a place to lay your head. This month, every day we will be sharing bible verses on blessings! It’s in these challenging times that we must hold onto these verses about blessings and remind ourselves of the goodness of the Father. For me, God has not only blessed me with EVERY one of my wants and but the fact He has provided all my needs has been the greatest blessing! I truly believe God wants to bless us and he wants to bless you. He tells us that in his word. In Matthew 7:7 the word says Ask and You shall receive. Psalm 37:4 says Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. And Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." I've been wanting a bigger vehicle with lower payments that I could haul an RV with. I simply wrote in my journal and prayed and asked God for exactly what I wanted it- and this week HE delivered! God prospers and blesses us but it's just not financial, it may be spiritually, emotionally, professionally, or physically. Just ask and ye shall receive. Lastly, I want to share the awesome Eight Beatitudes in Matthew 5:3-10 to emphasize YOU'RE Not Lucky, YOU'RE Blessed!
THE EIGHT BEATITUDES OF JESUS
"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn,
for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart,
for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
